Dr. Afarin Rajaei, Ph.D., LMFT

My name is Afarin Rajaei and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in North Carolina and California. In addition, I’m a medical family therapist and an Assistant Professor at Alliant International University, a researcher, and an AAMFT approved supervisor.

I have extensive experience working with families, couples, and individuals. I especially enjoy providing therapy to couples struggling with communication issues, infidelity, and parenting struggles. I also specialize in the individual treatment of anxiety, and depression. I find interpersonal interaction riveting. I deeply believe that our relationships matter; whether with ourselves or others; they could be the sources of our happiness, biggest growths or challenges, and sufferings.
